Mental health crisis support available across Greater Manchester this winter
14th November 2022Community spaces across Greater Manchester known as ‘Crisis Cafés’ or ‘Listening Lounges’ offer a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment for anyone over the age of 18 who is feeling low, anxious, struggling with negative thoughts, or just wants to talk to someone during evenings or weekends.

9th September 2022Salford City Radio is deeply saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth, and extends its condolences to all of the Royal family. The Queen was an inspirational lady and an exceptionally good communicator - clear, concise, with the rare gift of being able in just a few words to bring us all closer together.
No matter how 'official' the occasion, her warmth, wisdom, compassion and gentle humour always shone through. We are lucky as a nation that she was such a very human monarch and her loss will be deeply felt for many years to come. -
