Star Do you have a job at the moment?
Yes, I have two jobs. Three days a week working for Age Concern
(admin stuff) and the other two days worki
ng in a record shop.

Star Tell us about your home life?
I live with my partner Anne-Marie in Swinton.

Star What is your favourite record of all time?
Impossible to pick one song, but my favourite bands of all
time are Madness and The Smiths so most things by them will do

Star What is your favourite TV show?
At the moment, Harry Hill’s TV Burp. All time: probably TOTP or Fawlty Towers

Star What do you do in your spare time?
Listen to music, listen to the radio. Do pop quizzes. Anything music-related really!

Star What is your biggest achievement so far?
Getting to present a radio show I suppose. I’m not just saying that, I just can’t think of anything else off the top of my head

Star How has volunteering with Salford City Radio changed your life?
It hasn’t yet, but when I’ve been on air for a few months I might have a different answer

Star What does your show bring to the people of Salford?
Hopefully a diverse selection of music from a golden era

Star Who would you interview if you could choose absolutely anybody, and what would you ask?
For this show, probably Mike Sweeney as I used to listen to him a lot on Piccadilly Radio when I was a kid. I would ask him about his band the Salford Jets and also his days at Piccadilly

Star Whats the best thing that's ever happened to you?
Doing a radio show I suppose. I’m sure there are more important things but I can’t think of any at the moment

Star How would you describe your show?
Music from the years 1976 to 1986, taking in punk, new wave, new romantics, pop, disco, indie and all sorts of other stuff in between
