Last Sunday, Ian Orrell joined Eddy Mann for a special phone-in interview to promote the work of a charity which is set to open an EMMAUS centre in Salford. Ian, 60 and a retired teacher, is walking from Land's End to John O'Groats, and is hoping to raise £6000 for the project. He has already reached the half-way mark, and he arrived at Salford just in time to talk to Salford City Radio about this worthwhile cause. Congratulations to Tonicha Wallace, Sanskrithi Kumar, Daniel Ennis and Henry Misell. They were all competition winners from St Johns Primary School on the Height. All four talented youngsters came into the studio yesterday to speak to Lewis Ryan and read out their winning reviews on air. Many thanks to all who took part.
