 Dark Smile Productions bring fresh talent and ideas to the realm of audio drama. They are a not-for-profit organisation that not only develop new work, but also new artists and work with professionals and novices alike. Salford Voices brings together local actors and writers, both amateur and professional, and casts a critical eye over our city. What if regeneration was in the hands of the people? What if aliens landed in Buile Hill park? What if cats could talk, and people started lying on walls for no very good reason? What of our history? What of our future? And what if American-style private detectives pounded these mean streets? Salford Voices showcases just some of the talent coming out of this city. The project was funded by Awards For All and supported by Studio Salford. |
