Manchester County Football Association has awarded Pendlebury United Football Club the prestigious FA Charter Standard Club award for grassroots football. The FA Charter Standard programme, supported by FA partner McDonald’s, helps clubs to improve standards of coaching, administration, player development and child protection. The FA Charter Standard award is presented to clubs who have raised their standards in these areas and lead the field in promoting best football practice, both on and off the pitch in grassroots football. Chris Martin of Pendlebury United Football Club, said ‘‘This award is the culmination of a lot of hard work both on and off the field since the club was formed in October 2005 and thanks has to go to all players, managers and parents who have helped ‘the fastest growing football club in Salford’ to achieve the high standards set out by the FA. It is important to realise that the club now needs to move to the next level and can't just rest on its laurels, and together we look forward to a bright future for all at the club. Thank Sir Alex Ferguson for agreeing to present the award and for everybody at Manchester United for making the experience so special for both players and committee who attended.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2…
This highly anticipated sequel is the latest game to come from the Tom Clancy adaptation series. It is very much like its massively successful predecessor, Rainbow Six: Vegas, but with everything being re-vamped and re-invented. The graphics are the most notable improvement of the series. From bullet-holes to moving shadows, every detail has been included to make the game look as good as it plays. The graphics are improved, with players having the ability to now sprint! Clearly Call of Duty 4 has had a lot of influence on this latest outing by Ubisoft. Its online gameplay even manages to top the prestige of the last game, with much more challenging terrorist hunts in far more interactive maps available. The only negative of this game, is that it still feels very much like the last of its series, which is why I give it 4 out of 5 stars!5 Stars!
