unsigned
Salford City Radio is keen to support new music and unsigned bands, especially from Salford, but we will listen to new music wherever it's from, as long as it's good!
Many of our shows feature local bands who have submitted their music to us. We also have an increasing national and international reputation as champions of new music from all around the world.
If you are a band, promotion company or record lable and have songs for us to listen to then send a CD with a biography or press pack to:

We now have a specialist show dedicated to the local music scene in Salford where you will hear music from local bands - it is on Tuesday Nights at 10pm. If you are a Salford band and want your music on the airwaves then contact us!

FREE DOWNLOADS
In partnership with local bands and artists from the Greater Manchester Area we are offering a regular new free download feature to our listeners!
The download for December is by Kill for Company
Mike Banfield and Mark O'Donoghue met at college when they were 16 and have had an on and off musical relationships since then culminating in the creation of a great duo line up, earlier this year. The unique aspects of this band are Mike's use of a Gui-base which allows him to perform the dual role of guitarist, and bass player whilst also singing, together with Mark's excellent drumming skills, and they also have some fantastic songs. They are the break through act of the year for us and it is great to conclude this years run of free EPs with four tracks from the band. These tracks were previously free from their Soundcloud page but they generously allowed us to include them in our download release series.
You can get more information on Kill for Company from their Facebook page.
To download this free release please visit our Bandcamp Page where you can also download previous EP's from Sandells, The Souls, The Hamsters, The Blimp, Fall Fan Dave and the Lap Top Dancers, Kill Pretty and Danny Short.
Stay tuned for more exciting new announcements on our next free download!
